For up and coming, sister and brother duo, Juna N Joey, things are looking up as they continue in showcasing their versatile songwriting abilities, after releasing their latest single ‘’Til Your Heart Breaks’. A refreshingly new pop-country ballad, that soundtracks that emotionally definitive first heartbreak. The release follows their vibrant single ‘Something Good to Miss’ and acts as its perfect counterpoint on their first self-titled EP, out later this year.

Capturing influences from Kelsea Ballerini, Runaway June, and Luke Combs, the duo take heartache – a classic and prominent theme of Country music, and revision it into their own understanding, creating a beautifully powerful ballad. Telling the tale of a narrator, experiencing the painstakingly piercing emotions that endure when losing their first love, ‘’Til Your Heart Breaks’ slowly begins with Joey and a piano, setting the sombre tone for the rest of the track. Texturally, the track is rich with classic country and ballad hallmarks, the duo know what it is they are creating and demonstrate that perfectly.

Speaking about the track, the duo explain: “Although we have never experienced this level of real heartbreak, we wanted to write a power ballad. Kenny Royster and the experienced musicians on this track really knew how to interpret our acoustic version into a recording that we are so excited to release. We hope that people find this song to be true and relatable – love is definitely one of the most important themes in country music!”
